ABC Bright Little Eyes is an alphabet game specifically tailored for children with low vision or Cortical Vision Impairment (CVI). Extensive research indicates that children with CVI may encounter challenges when faced with visual clutter and may respond better to objects in distinct colors such as red or yellow. Taking these factors into consideration, this app features a straightforward design comprising a black background with letters highlighted in red, yellow, or blue.

The creation of this app stemmed from the realization of the visual difficulties our son encountered. His struggle to see posed a significant barrier to his learning process. Upon the advice of his vision therapist, our primary objective was to encourage Kaiden to actively engage his vision. Unlike more intricate applications that he would merely tap on without fully engaging, we observed that he responded best to yellow against a black background. Through consistent practice, we are witnessing promising progress in his ability not only to utilize his vision but also to acquire new knowledge. The child whom we once thought might never develop adequate visual skills for learning now shines as our "Bright Little Eyes."
